Sometime ago, someone asked my permission for using a work I'd done with Gimp: to illustrate a story book that was about to edit. That person offered me, without my asking, all information about the how and why she needed my job. Of course I said YES.

In this case, RIGHT NOW, TODAY and after many notes, the person using "Insignia" has explained how and why he (or she: I don't know)wanted it. But ... late explanations: 'cause he could have said the same things from the beginning, and from the beginning have given my credit, insted after three weeks (and because I commented the fact in my journal).

And is that ... we could not ask for permission to use a job when we've yet used. We can not ask permission and don't give the slightest information about the use to which you'll provide. We can not ask for parameters when you have not even given permission to use the image.

Things can be well done if we are CLEAR.

I'll not publish the name of that person, because I told him (or her: I don't know even this date, je) that I don't want to know more about this theme, which does not have my permission, because he (or she) could have said the same long ago: why, how and where he (or she) wanted my work. And given a credit.

He says that removed my fractal from the web ... and so I'll leave this theme as it is. I do not want nobody hurts me in any way, but I don't want to hurt anyone.

I can't believe what's happened:

People who ask me for the parameters of my works and use my fractals like they were of them ... I'm tired and satiate about they pretend to take me as silly ...

Well ...

1.- The logo isn't an hybrid, 'cause the 99% is my work. You only copied-pasted my "insignia" and put over a vector.

2.- I don't understand why you request for my permission, 'cause you're just showing my work like if was yours: You'd not given me the credit anywhere on the page.

3.- You're telling me about "collaboration", but you only tell about the things "I must give you". So This seems to me that it's not but an attempt of swindle and a theft ...

4.- After this, I have very clear that I'll NEVER give anyone my parameters, 'cause they are the proof of the rights on my work.

5.- I have "Insignia" and my other works under a copyright, and here, in Spain the laws about Author's rights are very protective.

6.- From now I'll claim my credit and economic rights, and any different that attend me, on my work.

7.- So, 'cause you insist on using my work without giving me credit, either attribution or any other right on it, I request you to remove my work of your page.

Estoy tan enfadada y triste que no me apetece seguir colgando trabajos, ni traducir lo anterior, ni nada de nada ... Aquí son más que frecuentes los casos en los que se les roba a los artistas sus trabajos, para venderlos directamente en otra página ... pero que encima de robarme se me pidan los parámetros ... es que es el colmo de la desfachatez, por no decir otra cosa ... manda narices ...

A partir de ahora, coloco una nota de copyright en todos mis trabajos y el "buy this print", de manera que nadie se la pueda bajar ... caray: hasta ahora no había vendido mis trabajos ¡¡y los van a vender otros a mi costa!! ... si a alguien le vendría bien es a mí, que, entre otras cosas, le debo a más que palabras de agradecimiento... y, además me estoy dejando la poca vista que me queda en mis trabajos, y no hago sino robarle horas al sueño trabaja que te trabaja (¡¡orque me cuesta un esfuerzo y un trabajo tremendo cada una de mis obras, señoras y señores!! ... ¡no se hacen en dos horas y de cualquier manera!)

Madre mía ... menudo bajonazo tengo ahora mismo ... sólo me faltaba, encima de "mangarme" mi trabajo, que me anden pidiendo los parámetros ... es alucinante ...
